1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using nufamly ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

nufamly is a family calendar management application that helps parents organize their children's activities by:

• Scanning Gmail for event information with your explicit permission
• Using AI to extract event details from emails
• Syncing events with Google Calendar
• Providing a unified view of family activities

3. Account Registration

To use nufamly, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. Subscription and Payment

4.1 Subscription Plans

nufamly offers two subscription tiers:

• Basic Plan: $4.99/month for 1 user with AI email scanning, Google Calendar sync, and core features
• Family Plan: $9.99/month for up to 5 users with shared family calendar, multiple Gmail accounts, and all premium features

Both plans include a 7-day free trial that requires a credit card.

4.2 Billing

• Subscriptions automatically renew monthly
• You will be charged through Stripe
• Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice
• No refunds for partial months

4.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to the Service until then.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Violate any laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights
• Upload malicious code or viruses
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Use the Service to spam or harass others
• Share your account with others
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code

6. Google Account Access

By connecting your Google account to nufamly, you authorize the Service to:

• Read your Gmail messages when you initiate an email scan
• Access your Google Calendar to create, read, update, and delete events
• Store OAuth credentials in your browser only (never on our servers)

Important: You can revoke this access at any time through your Google Account settings or by disconnecting Gmail in nufamly settings.

7. Data and Privacy

Your use of nufamly is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

Key points:

• OAuth tokens are stored only in your browser
• We do not have server-side access to your Gmail or Calendar
• Email content is processed by AI but not stored
• You own all your data and can export or delete it anytime

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including all content, features, and functionality, is owned by nufamly and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes.

9. Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service, but we do not guarantee:

• 100% uptime or uninterrupted access
• Error-free operation
• That the Service will meet all your specific requirements
• Availability of third-party services (Google, OpenAI, etc.)

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service with reasonable notice.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NUFAMLY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill
• Service interruptions or errors
• Missed events or activities due to Service issues
• Damages resulting from third-party services (Google, OpenAI, etc.)

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Warranties regarding accuracy, reliability, or completeness
• Warranties that the Service will be secure or error-free

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless nufamly, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Any content you submit through the Service

13. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms. Upon termination:

• Your right to use the Service ceases immediately
• You will lose access to your account
• Your data will be deleted within 30 days (unless legally required to retain)
• No refunds will be provided for the remaining subscription period

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the American Arbitration Association's rules.

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by:

• Posting the updated Terms on this page
• Updating the "Last Updated" date
• Sending you an email notification (for significant changes)

Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and nufamly regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
